Anyone ruined getting a meeting by being too impatient after they suggest times but don't confirm straight away?

Give it an hour and I'm sure they'll reply...you just want to get that last one in by the end of the day ha!

Yep and usually you end up looking like a jerk because they’ve legitimately got an emergency going on

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
I'm sure I have but I don't recall. I've definitely had plenty of people ghost from this point though so I think it's a playing the odds situation and you're better off staying on top of things.

If you don't have the patience then find another job. Everyone's time is valuable and yours isn't any more valuable than the next salesperson. If you can get a confirmation form someone else then move forward. Your customers/coworkers need to realize that your time is important as well.

Is it just me or are there multiple people copying and pasting someone else's answers...
And my answer is no, it wasn't a real meeting to begin with if they cancel because you followed up to make sure the time still suited them when they never accepted the invite, emergency or not

Do you still wear a full suit to your 1st meeting with a prospect, or is that completely dust now and feel like a used car salesman?

Anyone else despise the split second on zoom between the time you say bye and the time you click “end meeting?”

When a lead answers the phone for the first time in history only to scream at me to stop calling my first reaction is to laugh really loud. I don't even think about it.
