Cold calls, shitty leads, sourcing, prospecting, negotiating, closing, being surrounded by ineptitude, the whole deal. Obviously different though. Plenty of recruiters have business development responsibilities as well.

Yes. Even if the recruiter works for the hiring company, they still need to sell it to the candidate.

They typically don't understand the product, which upsets hiring managers majorly.
Yup they are sales but not revenue oriented rather "people" for KPIs
