Are sales reps the hottest commodity on the job market?

I have recruiters in my DMs every week. Although I am not looking for a new job yet it does feel good to know that the market is hot for great sales reps out there. It has me thinking, are sales positions the highest hiring position in the business world? Time to check the stats.

Yeah it's hot, especially as companies eye the end of the pandemic stranglehold and want to hit the ground running.

I'm personally excited to be selling into places that have been running very lean for the past year or so and as things continue to open up their revenues will as well.

My markets were not something that boomed during the pandemic.

Absolutely.. one of the reasons I love sales. There will *ALWAYS* be high demand for good salespeople. If you're fully into the lifestyle and can deal with the suck and the ebb and flows then you're going to be set for life. If your hearts not in it, best pick a new career!

They're up there. However, I think financial, healthcare, and software development roles are taking over the market currently. Sales is not far behind.

We're definitely one of the hottest commodities out there. The only other ones I can think of are skilled tradespeople, and higher level IT people.
