Asking for thoughts on a cold call pitch

Hey, Name, this is Bob from XYZ company. I know you're not expecting my call. Do you have a moment? I promise to be brief.

The reason for my call is that I've been speaking with a number of JOB TITLE who say they're struggling to help their teams develop in the virtual world.

Just wondering how you're currently handling ongoing development and onboarding?

I promised I'd be brief when I first called. How about we find some time this week (suggest day/time) to discuss your goals and challenges and share some examples of how we have helped organizations like yours.

Skip "the reason for my call..." and just go with "how are you helping your team develop in a virtual world?" ย Or, more importantly... "how are you ensuring your team isn't falling behind in a virtual world?"

Your approach sounds like a sales call. ย Make it a conversation.

Love this. I've been using Hey this is Chep from X company. I know I'm catching you out of the blue "chuckle" is now a bad time? They say yes "Sorry for the interruption can I steal 30 seconds" and if they say no I go straight into my pitch. Everything else here is awesome and I love the quick close. Going to try that tomorrow on the phones! Thanks Annonsales :D

Chep! Thank you for your input - let me know how the quick close goes for you. I get a lot of good responses for throwing that in there. Shows I value their time and that when I say it'll be quick it will be.

Eager to hear how it works for you, please let me know!
