Asynchronous Salesforce Stage

Hey,

I want to add a stage to our SFDC instance that I can throw in back burning optys. E.G. people that can't talk because they are in the middle of an audit or are restructuring their org etc.

I am not sure what to call it. Incubate comes to mind but doesn't quite capture it for me. I'd love some name suggestions.

If you have a better idea of how to disposition/tag/filter these accounts please let me know.

@poweredbycaffeine Don't you have something like this? Why am I thinking I've seen you discuss this before?

Not exactly this, but I use nurture and then add notes to the account or contact record.

Do you really need this? Cant you just closed lost the opp and throw a reminder in your cal to start working it once timing is better?

Personally I only want accounts in my pipeline that are workable and moving forward right now. Keeps things simple and removes distraction from the process.

We just did something similar at my company. Put in a stage before qualification for this exact reason. It's made it a lot easier for me to keep track of follow ups. Instead of the old email calendar reminder. Wish I knew how to help you, but my input is that it does work well.
