Check out repvue.com - they have good data to see different companies and their salaries (base, commission, ote, etc) based on where you live, company size, etc

Oh god. RepVue promotion is everywhere now. It's inevitably going to become over saturated and filled with fake reviews because they pay all these people to post LinkedIn status's (often I think are already written by RepVue) about how they were lost in the world of sales until they found RepVue. Give me a break - terrible marketing idea and it's going to hurt them in the long run.

I'd say 50k seems average, if you're in SF or NYC it's higher

Based in the Bay area and our starting SDR is 55 - 58k generally and then OTE 75k- 80k+

Prior to the recent hiring boom: $45-50k base with a $70-90k OTE.

Post boom: I have SDRs telling me they are fetching $70K bases and over $100k OTEs. I can't pay that...so I tell them to enjoy that opportunity.

agree with most of the folks below.  Lots of factors to look at beyond base salary though.

I'd say 40-50K base, OTE of 65-75K being the norm

I know you likely don't want to give away which company you work for but I've been helping a family member look for a remote BDR position for a SaaS company. Are there a few companies that you know of that do that?

Thanks for respecting that. There are for sure companies that hire remote in the SaaS space. My recommendation is to open your LinkedIn to recruiters, enter that you are interested in BDR/SDR roles, and toggle SaaS or software sales under industry. This is how I found my remote BDR job and i was approached by plenty of recruiters looking for remote employees.

301 = DMV?

Average is something like 45-50k in DC, maybe 40-50k Silver Spring/Bmore, 50-55k in Annapolis

Two prior roles were 60/90 and 65/95, but these were more specialised enterprise SDR roles and I negotiated hard both times

Don’t know if the market is as crazy as it was a few months ago but if so, 60k base easily.

Honesty, with the hiring surge, anyone who negotiates well, can get upto 55 - 60k base, depending on the industry/location. Don't sell yourself short, do the research, it'll only help you in the end.

I'm 50k base, 75-85k OTE as a remote SDR in fintech SaaS, and should get a base bump of a few grand with the senior SDR buff later this summer/fall.

I imagine you could successfully negotiate for another 5k in your base if you have proven success, transferrable skills, or massive balls.
