Curious to know what made you want to switch to corporate. Was it the "grass is always greener?" or just wanted to get out of the grind of sales?

Solid offer. $87k and a 8-3 schedule hybrid. Grass was greener lol Keep in mind I was a BDR beforehand and was nervous about the jump to AE.

if you were already an SDR i would try to avoid that path at all costs. but if you dont have closing experience then it will be hard.

How long were you an SDR for?
What did you do in the "corporate" role?

Just over a year.
I was a controls associate for a major bank on an internal data privacy product

what was your SDR experience in?

if you could get into a company that sells a data privacy product since you have familiarity in that area, i think that would increase your chances of getting a role.

GovTech, selling agenda and meeting management software. Thats a good thought, I will definitely look into that.

If I am already an SDR and want to jump careers, I would rather go for an AE role provided I am getting interviews, might be a bit difficult. Call is yours whether you still want to be an SDR.

Understand that completely. I think it will benefit me to get some good closing experience and at least test the waters.
