BDR Candidate Pipeline

Does anyone have experience with keeping a BDR pipeline? Team of 13, soon to be more, we will keep BDRs for about 12-15 months before promoting to SMB or Enterprise AE, so hiring is a constant process. Has anyone had success with keeping a pipeline or cutting down the time to fill a seat? I know for the most part we are SOL with cutting it down by a lot but even a week or two helps.

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
Having connections with colleges and universities with sales organizations on campus can take a lot of burden off of this. You know you'll get X people at certain times of the year.

Keep the job posting perpetually active so you have a constant flow of candidates in the pipeline.  I've heard success from others that do this: they consistently have candidates and interviews running so that when they need to fill an opening, they can do it fast.

Just dont stop regardless of your headcount. Make recruiting/interviewing 10-15% of your time. If you have a recruiting team even better and just have them constantly source talent for your role. If not, you have to do it yourself.

If you are remote we have found it helpful to target cities with large college or recent college grad populations. But just dont ever stop. Ever.

Wouldn't changing it to quarterly wear them down even faster? they get down early then they are out for the rest of the quarter.

Easy pick them off smaller companies which gives them more oops to grow. Most companies tells their BDRs there isn’t a chance to go into an AE role, so if you do that it’s a great foot in the door
