BDR / SDR £££££ in London?

I've been a BDR for around 6 months now and I think I'm starting to notice that other companies pay a lot more to their BDRs than my company does
my company is a SaaS company - it has a great culture and I'm happy there but starting to wonder if I'm better off moving somewhere else now I'm hitting targets
anyone please share BDR/SDR Salary + OTE for UK / London based roles?

6 months, get a little more experience and then shop around.

Definitely stay for at least a year. If they don't promote you internally then start looking. It's mostly frowned upon to bounce around from job to job, if if you have a longer tenure there you can jump and ask for more money...and also they might promote you internally which also looks amazing on a resume

Thanks, yeah I’m definitely going to be staying for at least a year but I wanted to understand in advance what my options could be - I’m not convinced about progression within the company. They seem to talk about progression a lot but I haven’t seen a lot of people actually progress, rather they move somewhere else

not sure on the UK market as I'm US based but it seems the average stateside is 85-100k USD OTE from what I have seen. so £65k is probably a reasonable expectation

The salaries in the UK are lower than the US, despite what enviable figures you see here.

In London it will be higher than other parts. Good SDR Roles start at 40/20, the average is probably 20-30/20.

At least most companies here have to publish the salaries on the job spec so takes some guessing out.

Do you want to stay a BDR? Move around and get paid more. If you want to move into closing roles, then worth staying in one place until you get a promotion then decide to move elsewhere.
