BDRs are the new CEOs

What is it with BDRs/SDRs?

They know it all, they have tried it all, and basically think they should be CEOs. Get humbled!!!! Remove the phrase "yeah, but..."

Asking the BDRs in the crowd...Why push back when managers ask questions or highlight areas of opportunity?

I think this is getting to be very common. i have no problem with them speaking up, but constant push back gets annoying.

This leads to criticism and over analytical of others and their "value" to the company.

That said, it can be hard for them to feel safe, confident, and trustworthy of people they pass their hard earned opps to.

There is so much expected from BDRs they are basically entry level AE's.

Good topic: I think it's important to put yourselves in the shoes of the prospect who's just reached out and think about the best experience you can give them.

I usually join the meeting the BDR sets up and he briefly intro's me and then I just run the meeting and they take notes.

New company has 30 SDRs to 10 AEs. I think I'm in love.
