Because Bravado > Glassdoor / Honest opinions only - Who here has worked for Abbot?

What's up Bravado Family. I got an offer from Abbott selling I-Stat point of care. The interview process was very well put together, and if I accept the offer I'll be back in the field and no longer WFH! (im not a house cat), but I'd be a fool not to make this post and ask for y'all's opinion for those who have worked there and what their experience is like. Every job has its "herpes", but I would love honest opinions before making the jump.

thanks in advance!

That’s the sort of concrete feedback I was looking for.

Sounds like you've already sold yourself on it, and @OpalTiddyChurger seems to hold their time there in high regard. Try to picture the next 2 years of your life at each company, what do you see/feel, is your life better, worse, or the same. Personally, I have heard all good things about Abbott, they're a behemoth. If that suits you, then SEND ITTTTTTTTT

I would check Repvue. I'm always cautious of a single persons point of view. Look at the larger trends

Abbott is a very strong company, especially in POC.  They are constantly in the conversation with prospects because of the reputation they have built.

I'd take that offer in a heartbeat if I was still in Medical Device Sales.

I'd take that offer in a heartbeat if I was still in Medical Device Sales.  Be sure to negotiate that salary - they have room to work. Also, their conferences are ridiculous.....

man, a matter of fact... don't take the offer... *opens up Linkedin to find connections at Abbott*

Perfect advice! Had a similar thing happen to me where I got an offer, then negotiated for a starting bonus due to my leaving behind a huge chunk of commission.

Stole this from a LinkedIn post but it's actually good advice. For all of us going through interviews.
