Becoming a sales consultant: cop-out or legit opportunity?

I've been approached by a consulting agency on becoming a full time consultant helping to improve and build sales teams for their clients.

Been considering whether or not this would be a "those who can't do, teach" situation or if becoming a consultant is a legit growth opportunity. Seems like there is good money in it and I wouldn't have to cold call anymore (fuck yeah).

What are you thoughts on consulting fellow Sales Savages?

And if you already are one, please give me the deets!

Would you become a sales consultant?

Would def take the opportunity especially if you have cold-called in the past. It gives you credibility

If you work in any company there is sales  so you will be selling your sales consulting services to other companies as well.
