I watched this deal being approved at Board a few hours after being informed that my entire company was being laid off by the company that recently acquired us. Surreal feeling for sure.
This deal was with a small Illinois K-12 school district who was interested in exploring more about our language learning software.
Fast forward after a couple of very productive meetings where we explored various concepts and a successful teacher trial, and their rural IL school district will now offer exposure to Spanish and French beginning at Kindergarten throughout 12th grade. This is a very progressive program for a rural district in Illinois, so it feels very rewarding to play a role in it!
This is my biggest New Business deal to date, achieving 75% of my annual New Biz quota in one deal (I'm responsible for $1m in Renewal/Expansion business also).
