I have a small hour glass (well half hour glass) that I put on top of my phone when I need to focus on tasks.ย Funny desk calendar and house plants to keep me somewhat sane.ย Usually keep a thc vape close by too.
Dig the hourglass on the phone idea to help stay on task! Think I'm going to steal that.ย

I love fidget things on my desk, especially magnets. There's a company called Speks that has these awesome things called Fleks. They keep selling out, but if you can get some they're the best desk toy I've had in a long time.ย
I love a good desk toy - recently I've been into aromatherapy play dough. Feel like a child, but it's so satisfying.ย
I don't have room for anything other than my notebooks, mouse, laptop, lamp, and ring light. I like to spread out.
I keep a guitar right next to my desk, if I'm frustrated or a call is going too long that I have no part of I just pick it up and pick away for a little bit.ย
I have a calculator. Keeps me from using the one on my phone and goofing around, or the one on my computer and again, goofing around. Feels wildly old school.ย

Tripod desk has changed my life. My wife and I both work from home so we have to share a lot and it can get complicated if I am trying to blast out some calls while she is in a meeting.ย
I bought this tripod desk that is big enough to fit my lap top and can go from sitting in front of me while I am on the couch to full standing (and I am 6'3" so finding something that is tall enough is already a challenge). Super simple design and has really opened up where I can comfortably work.

Actually make money in the stock market: go to a real broker (I use Merrill Edge) and put in as much money as you want. Put 70% of your money in ETFs (SPY, VTI, VOO), 20% into big company stocks (GOOG, NFLX, PG, AAPL, etc.), and 10% into wonky moonshot stocks (COIN, CLNE, ASRT, GNRS, THCB, etc.)
Get to know yourself inside / out. Know what motivates you to trade - layout your specific goals. Are you the type of person that can remain committed, or do you bailout at the first sign of risk.
