Best answer to call me back in 6 months?

There are cases where you do a fantastic Discover, mind blowing Demo, Successful Trial and the prospect says we will re look at it in 6 months :(

What should be the best answer in this situation?

What changes in six months?

Sometimes people ask to push for legitimate reasons, like a huge time sensitive project they need to focus on, budget constraints, or staffing issues. Sometimes they're just not sold on the value of your product yet. Sometimes they're not interested at all but too scared to tell you. By asking why, you'll find out where their head is at.

Don't be too pushy because if they're saying that then they truly don't have any intention/motivation to buy sooner. I'd stay in touch in the meantime and occasionally send helpful articles they might find useful that are relevant to their industry.

Ask them if you can reach out as a touch point in a month to make sure the timeline is still on track
