Yeah, back in the before times when I had to commute my Tesla Model 3 was incredible, especially in traffic. Turn on self-driving and tune out while it took me to work.

When I commuted in Houston (2015-2017) I drove a 2008 M3 coupe. The M3 wasn't the best on gas, but super fun to drive and comfortable enough. Before that, I had a Nissan 350Z. The Z was almost impossible for me to commute with (manual transmission, 1 hr - 1 1/2 hr commute bumper-to-bumper traffic).

I don't have a car because I'm in New York now, but when I relocate, I'm looking into a used civic/accord/optima/corolla for the week and a used AMG GT or Porsche 911 (GTS model) as a weekend "fun" car.

My Honda Civic was a good choice when I was doing 3+ hrs a day. Just enough of everything, cheap to fix and small for parking, yet decent storage space.

I kinda miss my big rig because “GTF out of the way” was taken much more seriously 😂

I'm in the market for a new car since I think we will be back on the road in July. The Toyota Camry looks nice, but I've had a 6 cylinder car forever. Some people say a turbo 4 cylinder is similar. Not sure if I buy that. 👀

I have enjoyed the shit out of my old ass C350 though.
