Best ESPP Payout?

What's the best ROI you've gotten from an Employee Stock Purchase Plan? I'd love to hear the biggest or typical ROIs seen come purchase date!

Had a few friends work at Electronic Arts during their rocket period in 2014. They maxed their purchases (20% of base salary). I think it was 50% discount.
$15/share.

The own their homes in Vancouver now. (If you know anything about Canada real estate, this will 🤯)

50% discount?? that's crazy.  Most I've seen is like 15%

@SADNES5 do you know if that was a company policy 50% discount no matter what? or came out to be a 50% discount given that the value of the stock increased so much since the start of the offering period?

Owning in Vancouver is a big 💪, that does help drive the point home for me!

I believe it's a lot less now. 2014-2018 were some golden years at EA.

This discount was to increase employee "ownership". It's harder for engaged employees to put in overtime/crunch when they know it's their own money.

I'll ask my friends what the structure is like now. May be a day or two.

Mine have been good but nothing like a startup. I did about 2x over 5 years and a fairly large company.

Nice! Steady and predictable to 2x is a good thing

I am holding some sitting around 800% ROI, which were also purchased at an additional 15% at the time.

FEELINGS- Your commission is annual (ARR) but the customer paid monthly (MRR) and if there is a churn in the next few months, the company will deduct by increasing your quota and taking the equivalent amount $$ from your quota in the next month.
