Best location for a SKO that is NOT Las Vegas?

Ok, for context: I do not live in the US but I'm used to going up there for SKOs. 7 times I went to Vegas, one to Tampa, one to Palm Springs and a couple to New Orleans.

Now in my current role I get to advice sales leaders on how our next SKO can be so I'm looking for recommendations. Everything goes BUT Vegas, they're a bit tired of it.

What's a great place for a SKO other than Vegas?

The PHX/ Scottsdale area has a ton of cool venues and is definitely a hotspot for conventions and conferences

No way! Are you still here?! I worked for a company in Tempe in 2019 and spent a ton of time in Tempe and Scottsdale. It really grew on me when it wasn’t the summertime and the heat was enough to kill your brain cells

All inclusive resort - minimize receipt tracking! We did this at a company that was a mix of Europe+US participants and all went to Jamaica.. it was awesome.

Sounds like this is calendar year so I'm thinking good places for January:

-Phoenix/Scottsdale
-Miami
-LA

Or if your budget is insane, rent out a hotel at a ski mountain such as Park City or Vail.

Nashville or Chicago. I recommend to try and find something that is somewhat centrally located so it is easier for travel.

Just got back from ours in Nashville. Super fun. As long as you're not into the whole "covid is real thing". I am a covid believer and all that so I'm now waiting for my post-SKO covid results before I can see my elderly family and that is not sitting well. Was freaking great though if you ignore that part.

I'm definitely a "I've seen covid kill people" guy because well, I have. I do consider the whole thing will affect this kind of events even after we're all vaccinated, but we still need to run the event. Thanks for sharing, Nashville is starting to look great!
