Best Mountain Bike Ever?

Hey you savages, this forum has provided world class advice that has done wonders for my career and last month I'm happy to report I closed one of the largest, multi-year, almost 7 figure deal, for my company.

Half the comish went to taxes and a third went to retirement. So I have a little bit of change left over, what's the best mountain bike you savages like for long, both uphill & down hill riding?

Can’t go wrong with one of these puppies below.

Nah but in all seriousness I have a 2020 Santa Cruz Hightower and I love it. It’s a solid option for any days ride.

@poweredbycaffeine does Enduro races, I’m sure he has some opinions as well.

Nah man, you gotta get the big wheel with the water guns on the handle bars. Shit was PEAK preschool drive-by whip.

Big facts. If you had the build in Super Soakers you were by default the King/Queen of the block.

What’s your budget, where do you live, and do you want to go with your bike? (XC, enduro, big mountain, etc)?

Lets just say I am prepared to spend as much on this bike as a used car price equivalent. (12kish?)

Live in SF, used to live in Palo Alto, but at this rate I might have two apartments bc I need sun light during June & July. (SF gets ZERO during these months)

Where do you often ride? Trail areas would be helpful.

For sure, but a tall boy and a megatower are worlds apart in purpose and derived experience.

I didnt see you answer the question on what type of riding you plan to do- DH, enduro, XC, all mtn?

I have 3 - HT 29er, FS, and a fattie. Love them all for different reasons.

Personally I have been looking at the Scott Spark to possibly replace my HT. But it’s pricey.

I'm all-in with Trek. How about. crazy ebike with a dropper post, and all of the fancy toys? I live in a flat but rocky place so a hardtail is enough, but since you live around actual hills, go mock everyone riding a car to get to a hill while you go up sliding like butter. I tried a 15k ebike and man it was smooth...
Not really into that? then get a trek from their top fuel line-up and add some Garmin pedals, mtb clips, and a garmin computer paired with their heart rate monitor and the varia radar.

I don’t have one now because I don’t deserve it yet lol but I plan to get a Guerrilla Gravity mountain bike. Check them out.
