When I look for work I look exclusively for remote rolls. These sights have been amazing:
remote.co
remotive.io
weworkremotely.com

Remote.co has a cool tagging feature that shows things like "international" "high paying" "Contractor" etc.

ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn & Indeed. Only use websites that have easy apply. I can't stand submitting a resume and the having to fill out an application or 'complete the application' on the company site which means just start over.

Feel like they should be opening that up to management folks, too.

@CuriousFox how much do you know about War Room's job posting? My company is looking to add a new Sales Engineer. Curious if it would be worth trying to get posted.... I don't see any job listings advertised, but my company meets the criteria on that link.

Hi thanks! So right now, because we're still in a pilot phase and doing things very manually, we're only letting in a select number of companies. We also have very few Sales Engineer candidates at the moment, so we're keeping it to AE and SDRs.

However, assuming all goes well with the pilot, we will open up Hiring to a much wider range of companies and roles in the Fall. Appreciate your patience, and stay tuned for more updates!

LinkedIn and recruitment agencies. I know recruiters get a lot of flak, but there is usually a very very high chance I get an interview if I go through them.

RepVue has been huge for me as far as figuring out what salaries/OTE are out there, and how I value myself. definitely worth checking out, the info is accurate from what I've seen.

I know LinkedIn sucks as social media, but it's good for jobs. My current job was posted on an fb page though, so I wouldn't rule it out. Just be careful there.

I used most of the same like everyone else for finding a role then I used repvue.com to check the difference between places I was interviewing to see data about compensation, percentage of people hitting quota based on the role, culture stuff, etc. - really helped me a lot!

LinkedIn & Indeed are good places for finding open positions in my opinion! LinkedIn also has the one click apply jobs so it can make life a little easier if you wanted to filter down to those.

Once I have applied & receive an interview, GlassDoor becomes my new best friend. Reading through the interview sections can give so much valuable insight on what the process involves.

Beyond the tips already given, I’d also flick a quick look in Pavilion (fka Revenue Collective). Lots of sellers, managers and directors there.

Of course! It’s a good way to network directly with hiring managers if you’re active there. Oh and of course, good luck!

Find a recruiter that specializes in the industry you're in/want to be in. If they are good, they know the space better than most and can give you the inside scoop on companies. When I was in recruiting, we always knew which companies people actually hated working for and why (because their sales folks always took our calls) and the ones that everyone was dying to get into.

I usually look up company on LI - then dive into website. Cross reference back and forth identifying individuals that could be a part of decision making for new hires.

Also, starting to see more "niche" job boards. Angel.co, market specific, etc.

My network. Best resource I have.  I have been referred into my most recent roles by professional colleagues and friends.

I respond to recruiters too even if the role is not particularly up my avenue. To build my network, I also point them towards people who  i know that are looking or take a minute to connect them.

What goes around, comes around

LinkedIn...message any and all hiring managers or leads in the companies you want to work for and use that relationship to get a job. Talk to as many companies as you can and then you will have the deciding choice...much better than just applying online and hoping your resume sticks
