Best sales books/content for newly promoted AE

Recently got the call up to AE, looking to fasttrack my ramp and lack of experience. What books/podcasts do people listen to for skill development?

+1 to "Qualified Sales Leader" which I picked up when it was independently recommended to me recently in a different forum

You can do a Search here for lots of books postings, but my go-to is GAP Selling.

Use the search bar here  (only on desktop version) and read more than one of the recommendations.   Most seasoned reps use parts of each process to build what works best for them.

Congratulations!  Here's to your success.

Challenger sale took me from almost fired to presidents club as an AE. Almost single-handedly

I don't think it's available on the mobile app, so a lot of new people miss it.  Lots of great content available by search!   Maybe some day some of the more valuable content will be pinned as well.

You Can't Teach A Kid To Ride A Bike at a Seminar by John Hayes. Absolute gem for first time sellers.

Not a big fan of podcasts. But 30 minutes to presidents club is a good one.

Just find your own style by trial and error. Don’t waste money on sales books. They’re all garbage.

Any Sandler book, especially "Selling Technology the Sandler Way" if that's what you sell.  "The Challenger Sale" is also great.

Most importantly, try to listen to a similar AE’s deal cycle all the way through on Gong, etc. if you can. This will get you off and running fastest in my experience
