In short - A centralized training/sales readiness platform where they have access to micro-learning (think a one pager on some value add with a voiceover they could listen to before a meeting), onboarding and pre-training programs (testing out of an online training prior to attending the formal training), pushing out product knowledge, announcing product launches, 24-7 access to training on anything you can think of (as it relates to our industry) and using gamification to engage them and encourage adoption from the sales force as quickly as possible.

Basically creating a “insert company name” university for the sales team.

Sorry looks like a long ramble-y answer- hard to break it up on my cell phone.

The only program I’ve used for that is MindTickle. I’ve never used it to onboard / learn myself since I was the one responsible for creating it.

It worked well for what we used it for.

Me too! I won’t be using it myself, just responsible for creating it for a 200+ person sales force and then overseeing it. How was your experience with content creation, deploying it out to the masses, customer service and support from mindtickle?

anything you didn’t like?

We’ve been looking closely and them and Brainshark. No triggers pulled yet.

I thought MindTickle had some great things going for it.

We used them for early on... I think they started in 2011 and we were customers in 2012 or 2013 so I’m sure the product has changed a lot.

We were also using it for a much smaller org (maybe around 20 - 25 people). However, the support and customer service was great back then.

I have zero experience with this type of software since so I apologize that I don’t have any more recent experiences.

We use Exceed and it accomplishes exactly what you outlined here and incorporated comprehension check-ins if you desire. Great for pre call prep, building new skills, ongoing training and enablement as well.

From this list I’d go for mindtickle.

If you could only use ONE sales tool (software) for the rest of your career. What would it be?
