Yup definitely reflects my list. Throw in collaboration (miro/figma) and some other hot startups like Zapier, rippling too

Sales tech is saturated right now. But some of them are positioned for huge growth. Only in conversation intelligence, in a matter of over the last year I’m starting to hear so many names, but a good thing to sell nonetheless

Assuming you know something about these companies since you’re here in a sales community...

I'd somewhat disagree here, as I have worked in that space at one of the companies you mention.  The sales cycles are more fun since you are selling to sales and sales ops, and naturally you understand the motions, but they are all stuffing territories and racing for lowest cost of sales possible.

I'd vote something in security / cloud adjacent up and comers as there is the most upside.  There is only so much room for more sales tools and there is already a lot of fatigue in that space.

I think there’s a couple who like to pretend they are a cut above the rest, but behind the curtains they all have skeletons.  From a tech perspective, if I had my choice, I’d get into the conversational intelligence space Gong, chorus, etc) I think it’s gonna be a must have tech stack item for any company with a sales or CX team. Easy to push adoption from clients and show ROI

Those companies seems quite interesting to me as well. I think you’re right. They’re well positioned to grow.

The best tech company to sell for is the one that you enjoy selling the most!

I can't say this for sure, but I work with the Salesforce teams a lot for feature implementation, and every single person I've spoken to is sharp, is full of energy, and can establish a reason for why they're on the call....

Anyone ever get on a call and there are 7 other attendees, but you don't know w..t..f... they are there for?... Like at all?  Now, I just call them out... "So uhhhh, heartbreaker6969, why are you on this call.  What benefits do you offer?"

I know a number of people who are/were miserable at Salesforce.

Maybe it's all perspective and job positioning.  I can only speak to the ones I work with, so maybe it's not for everyone.

Come on'.  We're in sales, and most of us are sensitive, even if we don't admit it.  There will always be those people that can stare and a large diamond and mutter, "I've seen bigger," or "it's shaped weird."

In the words of my great pappy Chalie, "Haters gonna hate".

A company has to hit a few areas:
1- Serves the board
2- Serves the users
3- impact must be measurable

Sounds obvious but so many companies sell to one or the other and then make up something and put it on a slide as to why it works for the other. Measurability is huge. You can't measure ideas and brainstorming.
