I do one on one cold calling sessions so they can learn from me and I can learn off them

Focus education on the problems you solve first. Too many people lead with product enablement which inevitably leads to SDRs feature dumping on cold calls.

Bad: "We're a blah blah blah company that helps CXOs do XYZ thing. Want to take a meeting?"

Good: "We hear from lots of CXOs that XYZ issue/priority takes up a lot of time/money. How true is that at your company?"

Also, once you understand the problem, the solution has context and is easier to learn about.

You 100% need to have a plan with them for your territory. I would also listen to their calls, coach them, set goals, etc.

Thanks! My SDR is really green (about 5 weeks) so I want to make sure that I am supporting him without drowning him in details.

For sure! The guy I’ll be working with is super new to the industry so I want to be pretty involved (especially early on)
