I've said this on here before, but I really like listening to a podcast or reading/watching an interview with an exec at a company.  Then breaking down the key takeaways into several emails, tying what they've said to how a solution might help them.  For each email, the subject line is essentially a different quote of theirs from the same pod/interview.

The first thing you can do iss look for lists that would contain your ideal prospects. Would your prospects go to certain tradeshows? --> look at attendants. Who has a network containing a lot of your potential prospects? Use salesnav to go through/filter LinkedIn for potential prospects. Look at your current clients and see if you can find competition that would benefit from your product. What pain do you solve, check if people are looking for solutions in certain places. Talk to marketing.

Look at the customer journey of your top 10 clients, where did they came from, is there a pattern? And then; why are they good clients? What criteria do they tick? What exactly made them buy and continue to buy?

Go look exactly there and build your messaging around it. That's where your quick wins are.

Does your competitor/s have an open forum where clients discuss problems with the current competitor and can you get access? G2 and other review sites are also great places. LinkedIn and some groups on it that are relevant to your industry. Prospecting can be as simple as utilizing google, just a matter of what you are looking for.
