Best way to get/ask for referrals?

Hey savages,

When and how do you ask for referrals? or dont you?

Ive been doing it as part of the followup during our onboarding process once all is going well, but didn't know if that was too soon, or not soon enough, etc.

Wondering how yall do it...

Usually I ask towards the end of the deal or once they're onboarded and happy.
