Best wireless earbuds for WFH that don't fall out so easily if I decide to use them for the gym?

Howdy all,

I know the headphone topic has been covered a few times. Upon checking the search bar though I haven't found anyone addressing the issue of them staying in your ears during a workout.

I'm looking for some new earbuds mainly for my work calls so call quality is super important but I plan on using them at the gym as well and the airpods are notorious for falling out.

Any and all suggestions welcome.

Beats Wireless Pro are my fav!

For some reason, AirPods profusely hurt my ears? The BWP have a hook around them so they don't fall out either. Mind you, I have pretty long hair so they're covered on calls and people can't necessarily see much of them!

I'm not a big fan of the over the ear thang. I had some pretty cheap MPOW M30 ear buds that were pretty discrete and stayed in my ears until the damn things stopped holding a charge.

That's fair, a lot of people don't like over the ear either. I have another pair of ear buds that have a string that loops behind my head that are pretty good quality for the $30 price tag from Target. But then again, those tend to hurt my ears too.

I also love the wireless beats - I was skeptical about the over ear attachment but after a week I stopped noticing the difference and they stay in with most types of movement. Best overall earbuds that I have ever purchased

Agree with these guys. I love my Beats and the ear thing makes it so they don't fall out and less chance of me losing them. Airpods really hurt my ears and I like Beats having the different attachments for varying ear sizes

I’ve had no issues with my AirPod pros. They’re pretty secure for my ears

Same here. The plastic AirPods and Apple's standard headphones always fell out, as did all other brands'. The Pros have been immensely clutch.

That's good to know, I was basing my reluctance off of the plastic AirPods.

I bought the plastic AirPods, immediately realized they weren't feasible, returned them the same day, and ordered the pros. Well worth the increase in price, in my opinion. Also comes with 3 different sized tips, and the noise-cancelling feature is really nice as well.

For WFH I love my AirPod pros. They are great in the gym for lifting but I have had issues with running. If I am running, I use the first-gen AirPods.

I like the Jabra 75t.  They are comfy and fit into my ear better than Airpods.

The simple truth is, everyone's ears are different. What works for me, might not work for you.

I have AirPod Pros with foam tips that you can buy online. They've stayed in my ears through snatches and clean and jerks without a problem.

That's exactly the advice I was looking for. I live in a hot and humid climate so I get sweaty as hell just thinking about the gym. That a factor where you're at as well? I've found it's the combo of sweat and activity that is jostling them out

AirPods Pros are awesome and come with different ear tip sizes so they should be able to work.

The new beats studio buds look pretty nice as well but I dont have experience. They are apple owned so should have great sound quality and are $100 cheaper than the airpods pros

I'd probably keep these separate. Use a wired in headset for work (less delay), and then use some other type of bluetooth for the gym.

I have a pair of Sony WF-1000xm3 that I swear by. Of course they just released the 1000xm4 so that may be a better option. Excellent sound profile, comfortable (they come with multiple ear pieces), don’t fall out and they have great noise cancelling.

those the ones that have the little fin that hooks inside your ear?

If I understand what you’re referring to correctly these don’t actually have anything that hook in. Just insert and they fit snug as a bug in a rug.

Bose QC earbuds. Super noise cancelling (that can be adjusted), 6-8 hour battery life, and STICK in your ears. I use it while on the bike/running etc. Can connect to multiple devices really nicely too.

For the love of god not Anything Jabra, paid around 275 for a pair last august, cosmetic chip on the left earbud and the earbud failed around 5 months later, voided warranty they won't do anything to fix it. Stray far away from Jabra in my experience

I’d recommend trying the AirPod pros if you haven’t already. They’re great for calls, don’t slip out as easily (had a friend whose AirPods kept slipping out but they swear by the pros now) and most of all you can replace the ear tips to something foam so it sticks in your ear better. Of course, test first!
