What is your Big Hairy Audacious Goal this month/quarter?


Feel like I'm in a point in my role where I know how to consistently hit quota and am wondering what stretch goals y'all have set for yourselves, as I'm trying to figure out what to write on my desk as a reminder.


Whether it's an activity metric, % over-attainment, money, something like that, I'd love to hear it. I mean anyone can say 200% to goal and mean it, but I'm looking for something more creative or self-improving.

Or if you have a success story about meeting a BHAG, please tell it!

Well I started a new role half way into the year, and to make club I have to hit my full years number. My goal is to ramp as fast as I can, and hit a home run and be the first rookie to make club in less than 6 months in seat.

Y'all dealing with delays from the shortage on microprocessors? Feel like everyone in tech has issues from that.
It's made me considering stabbing before. About to lose a deal worth 80% of monthly quota because we can't get product out in time due to the shortage.

What do you care about most? Huge commission? Recognition as the top dog? A new role in the next 6 months? Whatever motivates you, write that shit down and be relentless until you hit it.

For me its moving from a manager role into a director role by EOY, and to be in consideration my team needs to do 125% of our number for the remainder of the year. So thats what I am working towards.

I think the promotion angle would be one I'd like to explore more in the next 6-9 months, but I think for this quarter I'd like to have an attainment goal to make commission and a personal goal that I'm struggling to land on

Commission one in theory should be pretty easy to figure out. How much do you want to make and work it back from there. 

The personal one we cant really help with, aside from thinking about what really matters to you over the next 3 months and what you would feel proud to look back on 90 days from now.

Launched a new product in July - goal is to push 600 new deals from July 1 - December 31 at at average deal size of $20k per.  ($12 M in bookings) across my current sales team.  Its a knarly goal, but as they say "the hard is what makes it great"

Love the long term aspect. I feel like I was leaning toward a revenue attainment goal but a pipe gen goal would pretty much yield similar results!
