Deal Story

BigMeech closed Fortune #106 for $375.8k

Another quarantine deal (Jan 2021, per Sahil's request).

This one was an ELA. Had a few BUs leveraging our tool, but this was a wall to wall ELA/consolidation at the parent level. CIO was the driving champion here, helping us displace another entrenched legacy tool.

Competitions CEO got involved in the cycle and was calling in directly trying to pull the win away from us.

My SE deserves all credit for this win, he was an absolute savage.

C-level champion involvement is a must for change to occur. Imo. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Especially at these size accounts, absolutely. Every deal I have goes to the c-level, which leads to very long cycles haha.ย

What were some tactics that the competition's CEO did that you think might have been counter-productive for them?

What were some things they did that made you and your SE to double down on your strategy?

Never a good look for a CEO to go on a smear campaign. We clearly had the tech win, so my SE just kept pointing back to how we were miles ahead on the tech use case.
