[Book Club] Any interest in a War Room Book Club?

I know us sales nerds love to read business / sales / psychology books to uplevel ourselves. If I started a War Room Book Club, where we all read chapters of books then came together to discuss... would you be interested?

PS - PLEASE do not vote "yes" then not show up / join. If you vote yes on this poll, I'm taking it as your blood oath that you'll actually show up and join. And if you don't, I'm gonna give your cell phone number to General Corp so he starts practicing his cold call scripts on you at 2:37am every morning for 9 weeks straight.

I'm not joking.

Would you join (and actively participate!) in a War Room Sales Book Club?

Do yall think it would make sense to break the book club into different time zone based small groups? Or would it make more sense to have a set of thought provoking questions laid out that can be threaded just like a normal post?ย

I would love this biweekly.

I once had a CEO that advocated for 20 minutes a day of reading as simply good mental hygiene and Iโ€™ve come to agree. The added motivator of a discussion group is A+

Maybe do a couple, one for each time zone? That way everyone can join in a time convenient for them! Super down though.ย

Not sure how giving @GeneralCorpย my cell for cold call script reads at 2:37 am every morning is a threat. Aren't all sales reps awake at that time researching prospects or is that just me?ย

I'm definitely in for book club. Great idea @sahil.ย

I like it but how are we going to choose the books, if you want to opt out in reading a certain book tou should. Because i bought some books i don't want to keep delaying them.

My coworkers and I have our own group we call "Book Club" but instead of reading books, we smoke weed.

I have some really interesting papers on the Iranian Hostage Crisis, would love to discuss in your next "Book Club" gathering.ย

Yes, depending on the books selected. I'd opt out of books I've already read as I have a backlog of stuff to read.

I am trying to sharpen up everywhere.ย

Body. Mind. Spirit.ย

Iโ€™ve got a stack of books on my desk staring me in the face when Iโ€™m in my office... but I donโ€™t make the time for them I should.ย

If there were a group here, that might change the way I look at that stack.ย
