As the sole (up until a few days ago) Outbound generation person in my company, I have been this for 2 years now with our marketing team getting fired/employed and never really bringing much in, I do the hard work of scoping our new companies within a hard industry.
My boss then insists he has to have a meeting with them in which he doesn't read the notes and then asks the same questions.
Our solutions engineer who is pretty much the backbone of the company, then does all the other parts of hardwork after me by integrating them, making sure the data is correct and actually making them go live. All the boss does is use fancy words and sends over a bit of paperwork.
However, when it comes to company calls to tell the rest of the company about our new customers, he tends to disregard all of the hard work I have done getting them in, takes the credit for himself and then also praises people that weren't involved at all.
It doesn't bother me that much really as I know what he is like, but I was wondering if other people have experienced this and how they have acted/gone about dealing with it?
