I ordered the Apple Airpods Pro with my Bravado commish and UPS wants me to pay $60 in import fees.
This happen to anyone else? Is this normal?

Do you know where the airpods are coming from? It's possible that if they were shipped from the Apple store in another country that this could happen.

are you near a port (sea/air)? google local CBSA office, and go do a self declaration. it'll cost you maybe $20 bucks or less for the airpods. UPS and DHL will sometimes 'do you a solid' and do the customs brokerage for you, and charge you 1,000% in fees - this is what has happened to you.
If you don't have the paperwork, ask UPS for it.

Take the airway bill/shipping bill in with you. explain they are a "prize" and they might even just clear it for you. no fees. usually the CBSA offices are near the commercial airport close to the cargo facilities too - so after you paid the duties drive over to the UPS station and slap that "cleared" or "duty paid" baby on the counter and pick up your new pods.

The key is to do your research and declare as much as you can without going over the line.

Did you use a different company to ship them or were they sent directly from bravado? I have used an international shipping company to get stuff out of the US after Bravado has sent me stuff and have had to pay.
they're using Sendso at their 3PL.
Your customs charge is about $25 of that. The rest is UPS being scum.
The process for self-clearance is such a pain in the ass, I usually just pay the scum and get on with my life. Gotta love Canada.
