Did not see a poll regarding the topic when I searched it, nor a call to action for best break up emails, just someone that posted their own personal preference

The link @Diablo sent literally has a call to action:
"but what are your favorites to get them back to the table?"

My boss calls it “strip lining” someone and it’s more along the lines of “I understand priorities change so Ill close this out for now”

They get so many replies. Sometimes I've sent multiple breakup emails to the same person and gotten a meeting out of it. Other times I've sent breakup emails as the first email in the cadence, also with great results. Hands down the best kind of cold email.

Worst case scenario, they just keep ignoring you. Best case, they reach out.

nah. insurance agents/agencies/brokers/etc. don’t give a fuck. in my mind if i created enough value within my outreach i would have at least gotten a yes or no. if someone has ghosted me or stopped responding, usually i flat out ask if my timing was off and say “i don’t want to be the annoying salesperson clinging to nothing.” usually then they’ll give me my answer and if not, i have the answer anyways.

I don't use them at all, if anything they only make the prospect glad you are going away. Try asking for a referral to someone who might benefit from having a conversation instead. I use the subject "Referral?" in the email and get a pretty good response.

Sometimes I do, but only for a lead that I think is really worth the extra effort. Otherwise who cares and move on
