Bump Emails - opinion needed!

A SVP at my company recently showed me his inbox yesterday. About 25 were " just checking in/did you see my last message/following up."

Do you have a 'bump' email that gets the same point across yet separates yourself?

How do you go about calling attention to a really well written/personalized email without sounding annoying or needy?

I don't follow up in just a couple days. I wait at least a week before sending a follow up. And most importantly, have a CTA at the end of the email where they can opt out. The CTA can be as simple as reply with STOP to this email and I won't follow up.

interesting take to wait a whole week for the follow-up. I usually do 2 touchpoints a week per prospect.

I feel it to be pushy. When I wait a week, I have response rate of close to 95%. Either with a yes or no. But I don't get ghosted for sure

I don't ever just 'bump' and email. I email for a reason and if they haven't answered the first one, I go back with something slightly different and tip a nod to the first email.

I get a lot of people 'bumping' emails to the top of my inbox and I've never replied to a single one.

If I'm reaching back out, I give it at least 5 days unless it's been understood and agreed that we have something we have to get done [in which case I'll intersperse with calls in between so 1 email 2 days later or end of next day a call, then an email 2 days later].

When it's cold and I'm just using emails I'll alter the messaging and try to always add something to each subsequent message that may be relevant to them, whether an article I read or a new blog post on the site, etc.

The RE:RE:RE:RE:RE approach I think makes it even less susceptible to opening

Always have a value point and call to action. And send once a week. If you feel like it's been too long you could ask if they have given up on the project.

Sending a "bump" email without additional value/questions is just spam and you're unlikely to get a response.
