Call Blitz

There is a growing amount of evidence showing that these don't work. Clients don't want to talk on the phone and would rather text. It's easier, faster, gets to the point without wasting time. What do you think?

Call Blitz worth it?

This is entirely dependent on industry and persona. I wouldn't take away anything from this

To be fair, a large portion of topics in the WR are subjective to each person's company/industry.

I guess thats true, sorry didnt mean to belittle any one or companies approach, just an opinion and desire to understand others thoughts

Nothing can replace (well executed) cold calling. I wish something would, but it won't. Not emails, not texting, not Linked In.

Until the robots arrive haha, I may not entirely agree with that, i think it depends on the client you call into right, look at amazon, when was the last time they called you to sell you something? but i bet you spent a bunch of money there over the last year

Customers are actually picking up the phone now more than I can remember in a long time due to COVID.  I think the phone is going through a renaissance.  We'll see how long it lasts.

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
I'm against the concept of blitzes in general. All cold outreach that's not generic SalesLoft/Outreach campaigns should be strategic and a focus on value creation. Blitzes are basically the opposite of that.

Edit to correct a typo.

thats sort of what bothers me, I understand my clients, and forcing me to make contact outside of a normal cadence isnt really that effective in my style

SDR blitz everyday, AE blitz once a month. I used to do market blitzs when we could travel and hit multiple people around my meetings

I like being able to afford to travel, and do whatever I want on weekends. My hobbies (Skiing and Mountain Biking) are expensive as fuck.
