I never did this as a BDR BUT we didn't have stupid fucking requirements like that. Quantity isn't quality.
This is the problem with "it's a number game" mentality that still pervades sales culture. You can't magic pipeline and dialing randomly doesn't achieve shit. Do what you need to do to get by, get promoted and move on with life.

Aside from the time my boss rear-ended my car and felt so awful he vouched for me to get a rookie of the quarter award at a big company, it was probably the biggest whale I closed (half a million). Wish I would've spent that commish check more wisely
