Calling All Musicians!

Would love to hear about everyone's musical talents!

What instrument do you play? (singing counts!)

Brands/models?

Styles/genres?

Professionally?

Do you play while working?

I play guitar and sing...and can get around on drums, keys and bass.

Main Acoustic: Taylor K14ce Builders Edition

Main Electric: Fender Stratasonic

Been a worship leader in some form or another for about 20 years.

Also have a group of guys that I do episodic gigs with, for special events, for pay. Cover band stuff...but a lot of fun.

My acoustic is on a wall hanger right next to my desk in my office, so I try to take it down a couple times a week to strum and sing a bit, just to break up the day.

How about y'all?

My partner was a big deal in various hardcore bands in his 20s. He played bass. Now he's an accountant because he realized that he didn't want to be a drunk for the rest of his life haha.ย

I constantly troll him by blasting his songs on spotify when there are others present.ย

He made the right choice! haha

But that doesn't mean he should never re-live those memories...so bravo!

I just hang a couple of guitars on the wall in my office at home so prospects think I'm cool.

I've got a Gibson SG special faded worn brown and a Taylor 314ce. Always make sure it's in view when I hop on a demo, so much rapport building

Sick axes. The Angus Young special...and can't go wrong with Taylor!

Mine is hanging off-camera view, unfortunately. Don't have anywhere to put it behind me; bookshelves and window. You're right about the rapport building though!
