Calling after lunch works better for me.  They're usually in a happier mood after tummies have been filled.  Otherwise before lunch (like after breakfast).  Never wanna talk to someone hangry, including myself :P

Hahah very true, one time I actually talked to a dude WHILE he ate and man he was smashing on whatever it was he was eating. Wasn’t sure if he was gonna be alright. Set the meeting tho

I would take a look at your sales engagement platform and see if there is any data on time of day and number of connections

Truth time: do you have those days where a legit prospect picks up a call and you hang up when they answer ?

How many times will you call a prospect after they don't answer the first time? At what frequency? I typically don't make a lot of repeat calls, just call with volume consistently and try to catch folks at the right time...
