Camera on or off?

I saw another post “tell me why your camera is almost always off” and now I’m curious..how many people are camera on vs off.

I started using my camera when we started working from home and it’s honestly been a game changer for my calls. This sounds crazy but I feel like it humanizes me more and it’s been far easier to develop relationships with my prospects. Maybe because I’m unprofessional and show up with all my tattoos showing or in tie dye hoodies hah.

Anyone else start using the camera and feel like they notice a difference or am I just insane?

I always try to have mine on, unless I get stuck having to eat during the meeting. Definitely seems to bring back a bit of the personal aspect of the meetings you would get live

Nothing beats nonverbal cues to get prospects excited and on your side (rather, you can communicate that you are on their side)

I turn it off because it creates an element of mystique.

On for clients. I'm 50/50 internally. Sometimes I just don't feel it.
