Can't find any contacts at company I'm prospecting...

Before you tell me to pick up the phone...I have and will continue to do so. Have emailed their "[email protected]".

Company I'm prospecting is a ghost outside of their webpage.

No about section. Can't find anything on zoominfo, seamless.ai, linkedin, etc.

Any advice?

I agree with the other comments. At a last ditch effort you can try calling a general number and going through a maze. If they are a manufacturer there is definitely a number for them to take orders or deal with customer complaints. If local…fuck it drive by. But it’s probably all a waste of time which can be spent better sourcing new deals.

We manufacture. We sell to companies like the one I'm prospecting. Weird how a B2B biz has minimal online presence.

I agree, I’ve come across a handful of these throughout my career. I’ve wasted a lot of time chasing them down as well. Prob best to move on…but show your activity on this account in your CRM. So if management ever looks into it on why you say it’s a dead leaf there is evidence of you trying and not just saying it’s dead for no reason.

Do they have an automated line where you can hear the directory? Can you call reception and ask for a certain department?

Tried it. Customer service looks to be separate from the admin/leadership.

I’ll find a way 😎

This is a dead end.

Why are you still going after it?

Because leadership sent it to me :)

id report back and say hey....this account is dead.

I use to have a VP that would do that to me ALL the time

"hey here is a super good account see if you can get a meeting with them".....no listed employees, no info in zoominfo or linked in.....thats for the HOT lead boss

Because they sell stuff we manufacture.

Surface level, they look like they fit our ICP.

Yep agreed. Planning on doing that.

Sounds like I've done my due diligence far enough.

Are they, by any chance, within driving distance? Might be worth throwing a Hail Mary and just showing up lol

Nope. I’m in North Carolina. They’re in California.

I work in an extremely niche industry so potential clients are few and far between.

If leadership wants you to go after them so badly, they can fly you out😅

Where in CA? I mean, if they're in my home town, I can do a cruise by.

You’re awesome but totally unnecessary.

Frankly my original post was trying to make sure I’m not getting old and out of touch with technology 😁

No. I recall calling into some assigned accounts, and once the Google map street view led to the discovery that the address was a deserted portable sitting on a fenced off lot. The company name had me suspicious from the start, and the lack of visibility on every search I tried produced no results.

This is what happens when a database of unscrubbed accounts and contacts is just dumped into the CRM and management thinks they're a real addressable account list.

I'm going to CA in a little over a month. If you DM me the company name and they aren't in the ass end of no-where, I will personally knock on that door and (do my best to) get you a contact.

How many accounts do you have? Is this one a C account and you shouldnt spend too much time on it?

For clarity, I've spent 5 minutes on it so I'm not worried.

This was the first account my boss dropped me personally. Everything else I've just been attacking on my own (current accounts and prospecting).

Been in this new gig for 3 weeks. Totally in the deep end at the moment.

Tough one and good call to not spend much time. I’ll just let the leaderships know about my effort and would ask them if they have any suggestions:)

Are they a good company to sell to? Like if they have no organization footprint how do you even know who makes decision or that they have a problem you solve for?

I'm working in Industrial robotic solution providing company. As in India idk how to sell robotic solution(B2B) as I do not have contacts any advice? P.S: - LinkedIn is not useful tool for B2B sales in India because most of people use it as Facebook or for job hunting 🙁
