Can’t get the wheels turning

About 50% of my job is cold calling.  I can't get myself to pick up the phone today.  what do y'all do to get going on a day you're just not really feeling it?

PS most of the time I enjoy cold calling, just not today

I feel you mate, in the same boat. 

Most times I do this, 

1. Get started cold calling reluctantly anyways and screw up the first call. That fires me up for the next ones. 

2. I save the best calls I've ever had and listen to them. Reminds myself of how it feels when you get off an amazing call. 

3. Watch some sales motivation. 

4.  Fucking change the entire script. What I've realised is that we usually tend to get bored when we anticipate what's gonna happen. Since you cold call everyday, you know who responds to what in which ways. Change that script and add whatever funny things comes to your mind right away. Take that risk.

I appreciate this! I’m definitely going to apply some of this. I’m probably going to start with a motivational video since I don’t have any call recordings right now.

Have you tried sending cold emails? You might get a conversation started that will make you want to pick up the phone.
