Can we hold ourselves to a higher standard?

This email came from one of my competitors earlier this week after I downloaded one of their white papers to research them (I'm a sales rep). Too much to ask if we can agree as sales people to walk the walk (if you say you researched actually research)

I wish Sales/SDR Managers start educating themselves on how to effectively build and use a cadence. People are literally using it for carpet-bombing (like them marketing mailers which have 40% open rates and 0% readership). This is not how it was supposed to me. Aches my heart.
