Cardone University: WORTH THE $$$? Dying to know!

Update: I did search this thread but no one is talking about the actual university and only if they like or dislike Cardone and of course the entertaining Corporate Cardone videos.

Original post: Ever since I read 10X by Grant Cardone when it first came out, I have followed him and did his workshops and things but never took the plunge to purchase the Cardone University courses. Has anyone done this or know someone that has and is it worth it?

People in here seem to hate Grant, I doubt you'll get any positive feedback.

I haven't done it. Think of what you're hoping to achieve and decide whether it's worth the investment. I myself feel that paid sales training isn't usually worth it...there are so many free resources out there, and frankly I've done my best learning hands on, on the job.

I agree here. Way too many free resources online.

It's not.

I did it for 8 months at a previous company, and literally there was a part where he said if a prospect isn't responding, text them a rap video.

He then proceeded to perform his on the spot rap.  CRINGE!

I definitely used the search function.  It is all focused on the like/dislike of Cardone as opposed to any information on the actual sales courses.  Although I did find the Corporate Cardone videos very entertaining!

I am not sure, as I haven't done it.  I think there is probably some value in it, but it really depends what you are looking for in terms of training.  They are most likely quite generic as they aren't tailored to any specific industries.

For a new sales person, it might make sense for a while, but then you really have to know your personas and deal with THEIR objections, not just some generic pricing, or no time objections.  I hope it helps

p.s. I did pay a few years back for a specific cold calling class when I was starting, but the content, even if relevant, was about 10 years old (just by looking at Grant, the way he was dressed and what he looked like).

Thank you!  I was hoping he kept it regularly updated.  Looks like nope!

I don't know, I guess after not getting ROI from Trump University I would be hesitant to do another person's university.
