I've had an SVP BD. But he was also SVP Sales.
Usually post hitting the Director / Sr Director / Max VP Level, they make a horizontal move is what I've seen.

Depends. You may go further at a large logo vs a start up.
I’ve had a VP of BD but they weren’t in charge of BDRs - it was just another type of sales leader 🤷🏼♂️
Never seen a VP of BDRs.
I have seen a global VP of BD but i feel like that is rare for sure.
i think if you get to VP of BD that is the peak.
im curious if a VP of BD could become a VP of sales?. like im sure they could but im sure ppl look down on it a bit compared to other VPs

I have never seen a VP of BD, so this is news to me haah
There absolutely is a ceiling. I encourage people to not go down this path. I learned the hard way
