Challenger Training

War Room.

My company has finally reached into their pockets and decided it was time to train their sales people, rather than purely rely on god given natural skill.

They've comissioned a full blown Challenger Training programme. Starting next month. Has anyone had experience of having been trained in this metholodgy?

If so, what can I expect? Good bits? Bad bits? Best bits?

I worked for CEB who's managing director wrote "The Challenger Sale" so it was engrained in all of our training.  Its an approach that works to my skill set but with all training there's some rehashing of old stuff, good skills to pick up that can improve your skillset, and some mindless stuff thats just fluff.

Thanks @greencj
One thing is for sure. Something is better than nothing. My sales team is a bunch of motivated a clever lone wolfs - each doing it based on gut feel. So far it's gone ok, but it has led to big gaps between top performers and everybody else.

Just did a search and found this post as I'm started Challenger next month. I've done a lot of Sandler but very little Challenger i.e. read the book back in 2021ish and did a 1 day training on it. How have you found it so far? @SpanishMerchant
