Change companies or leave sales?

What if you really enjoy working in sales but your current company shows absolutely no humanity towards its employees/has no experienced leadership...move on from sales or move on from the company?

Company - straight up.

We all have our gripes, but the lack of humanity is not ok. Move on up.

You didn’t say anything about the product or economic opportunity.

You want to be treated with respect you need to pump your numbers up.

Sales doesn’t exist to coddle you!

Yup, precisely. I’ve only had experience in sales at one company (was at a Big Four before that) so I guess I’m trying to figure out if it’s this bad in the profession in general or if I can continue doing what I like somewhere else and expect a different culture.

You gotta have a bad sales job to know what a good one is and to appreciate it. Keep at it and def switch jobs, but sales is a great profession just need culture nad good leadership to go with it

I'd 100% say move on to another company, not out of sales. There are so many great places to work. Do not let the bad experience of one poorly managed company leave a sour taste in your mouth. If you like sales, there will be a good match out there that would be happy to have you.

Well if you enjoy working in sales but at a miserable company, why would you think about leaving sales and staying at said shitty company.
