So it's no secret the Warroom has been changing, I was thinking of some ideas to bring to the top to help improve user experience, foster greater activity from everyone, and bring more value. Here is a list I came up with to maybe help with that, wanted to get your thoughts as well as things you would add
- Better search feature - When you search something you should be able to have like a google results page with pages of posts to go through, with the ones that were clicked on the most being at the top, as well as most relevant, these posts should also include a ranking of most upvoted, along with the usernames of the posters attached and a couple top comments
I feel like that would solve a huge amount of the headache and heartache of everything going wrong with 'it's in the search bar'
Right now it's very much so like one person has written a great post on the general question of 'how do I land a job in Saas' but that person who is 1/10,000 with the same question cannot find that post, so he or she or they make that post because they couldn't google the answer and now they aren't getting the value of that original post and instead someone is going to comment something subpar to it, and this will happen 9,999 more times at least, and even more as Bravado grows. Leading to a post black hole.
--2. DM Feature for Web applications and Android - obvious reasons, most of us use bravado on our laptops at work lol
--3. Having a few different landing pages for categories of posts and feeds - IE. right now we have a Hot, New, My Feed, type deal when you land on bravado, what if we had those in am AE, SDR, MGMT, War Stories, Funny, & Off Topic section or some shit like that? So you can click into which sort of Feed you want to see, and then being able to see the hot, new, and my feed of each of those?
I think those are a few good ideas, I have more but I'm also thinking to only change things one at a time to see what works for bravado
Any thoughts? Additional Ideas? - I cant find previous posts on this topic (back to my first point) so if you could link them as well in the comments if you know of them that would be sick.
P.S. this is also in tandem with a project I am doing in consideration for joining Bravado as a Community Manager to help build up features in Bravado
Much love, the kid
