Fair point. @alexhat @lisa- see above. i do think having to choose every single time doesn't make sense. we should only have the person pick once, then allow them to switch in a less intrusive way.

And I know it's a new thing, so it's clunky. It's just an experiment based on a LOT of user research... please just give it 1-2 weeks and we'll revert if you still hate it. Scout's honor.

Bigger picture for Bravado is to be the go-to recruiting platform for sales/marketing gigs.

For potential employees to vet quickly, guessing they want a bit more transparency into potential candidates...?

99.9% chance that I am completely wrong but that's where my head went.

I also noticed under "my portfolio", your public profile doesn't list any contributions to the community. Could be a UX thing not linking ANON to public?

DISCLAIMER: having worked for a bootstrapped SaaS company in my mid 20's, I'm a big fan of "fuck it, launch it" and see what happens.

You never know what will stick or what won't until you try it. I actually don't mind the option of it being public.

Who knows, maybe this will encourage more members to take risks and network for potential opportunities that better their life.

The beauty of Bravado is that it's anonymous. I'd probably leave if it became yet another place where people are "brand building" 🤮
Also,I want to be able to bitch and complain about our COO sexually harassing women in our company including my pregnant wife and how even though he was eventually fired, our company is doing nothing to ensure this kind of behavior doesn't happen again and it's led me to find another job which I'm currently working in tandem with this job until my book of business is built up enough and I can quit.
Even though I have the option to stay anon, this dynamic would change drastically if I knew other members of this company were on here.
