Are you talking about being the person who has to be a chat support agent? Or, are you referring to dealing with chat support from vendors?

Some vendors are VERY bad at it (read: ZoomInfo). Some are very good at it (read: HubSpot). Incidentally, I find the worst at it are the ones that sell the tool, like Intercom.

The CSM I had at my last company at ZI took 5 weeks to get back to me with pricing on new seats...5 weeks! I did not make that order...and I asked for a new CSM (that I didn't get). Recently I saw her getting massive praise on LinkedIn from her other customers...it was so difficult not to post a snarky comment.

I get fed up with Zoominfo and thought I was alone, but tonight I have come across so many people like yourself negatively referencing them and that makes me happy.

I don't really know what you are saying here. But in my experience, chat support is great. I'd much rather be chatting with someone than sitting on the phone on hold.

But are you saying your internal chat support sucks or when you are reaching out about a product / service you use for support?

If they have a good speed-to-contact where you can be transferred to a live agent quickly then it's way more optimized but yeah without that feature it generally sucks
