This deal is hilarious to me. One of my first deals in this new role. The customer is as difficult as it comes. Talks on the phone 2-3hr every time I would speak to him. Always asking for more discounts or ways he can reduce his contract with us. I realized after 3-4 calls with him he's just one of those guys who wants to complain. He has been a customer of my company for over 5-6 years but always finds a million reasons to complain and claim he's going to leave for a competitor. I gave up trying to close this deal but I got thrown a bone to me but customer support (The one department that he actually is nice to). They suggested they looking at hosting with us. Very exciting to be the one to close this as several previous reps failed to do so cause how difficult the customer is. Suffice to say I have several cases of beer owed to customer support for giving me this blue bird of a deal.
